The safety telephone service is particularly useful if you need some additional safety support when moving around your home for example if you have an increased risk of falling or for another reason.
The service includes a safety phone and bracelet that you can use to contact our on-duty safety telephone team at any time. If necessary we will send a carer to you, and in emergency situations we make sure that an ambulance is called.
We will teach you how to use the device and assist in the event of any faults.
You can also add a door alarm and GPS locator bracelet to the safety telephone service. These can be particularly useful for those with memory disorders, for example.
The door alarm will notify the on-duty safety telephone team if you leave your home during the night, for example.
A GPS locator bracelet allows you to move safely even outside your home and will raise the alarm if you leave your own pre-defined safe area. This helps us get assistance to you quickly if needed.
