Safety telephone service and locators

The safety telephone service is intended for Helsinki residents who need security for living at home and moving about due to hazards such as a risk of falling. With our safety telephone and bracelet, you can contact a carer around the clock the year round, whenever you need it. The service can also be supplemented with a door alarm or GPS locator bracelet, which can be useful for clients such as those with a memory disorder.

The safety telephone service includes a bracelet and a central unit that can be used for a two-way telephone connection with our on-duty safety telephone staff around the clock. If needed, we will send a carer to your home for an assistance visit. In urgent cases, we will call an ambulance.

When you are a safety telephone service client, we will not only take care of answering emergency calls, but we will also install the device into your home and teach you how to use it. We will also provide technical support if a fault occurs.

The safety telephone service can also be supplemented with a door alarm or GPS locator bracelet if there is a need to monitor your movements in order to guarantee your security due to reasons such as a memory disorder. The door alarm will notify our on-duty safety telephone staff if you go out at night, for example. The GPS locator bracelet will trigger an alarm if you leave your designated safety zone, enabling us to reach you quickly if needed.
